About me!
I’ve always been the kind of kid who couldn’t help but ask, “Why?” about everything.
Why is the sky so vast? Why are ants so small? What happens if I mix this with that? Wanting to know everything there is to know about this universe.
Admittedly, I was probably quite the annoying child with all these questions.
As an adult, I’m so grateful that I did not let external judgement kill my interest in the world around me.
Funny enough, I grew up being afraid of nature and all of its wonders.
You would think that I wouldn’t care about getting my hands dirty.
However, I was the daughter of a Japanese city-woman. Unknowingly programmed to constantly keep clean and therefore, was afraid of nature.
Today, you would find me in Yoyogi Park, the “Central Park” of Tokyo.
Barefoot on the damp grass. Leaning against the trunk of a tree twice my size.
If you’re lucky, you may see a moth perched on my finger as I meditate!
I find myself in an ever growing journey of acceptance.
Whether that be accepting my inner child’s aspirations or acknowledging my darkest demon’s intrusive thoughts. Each day, I strive to unlearn the things that no longer serve me, finding empowerment in shedding layers of societal conditioning.
Writing is one of the ways I can do this.
In a world saturated with information, every word we consume shapes our perceptions and beliefs.
It’s simple, really.
By infusing my authentic self into the content I create, I hope to inspire others to do the same. To challenge the status quo and unravel the layers of inauthenticity that we see all around us today.
Because when we strip away the façade and speak from the heart, that’s when true connection happens.
I have so much more to say, so if you’re interested, check out my blog posts!
